I bake pure sourdough bread in the age-old tradition, using just flour, water, salt, seeds, and naturally occurring yeast from the air. I have been baking daily for years, expanding my business around the Tuscaloosa community. Products include: sourdough bread, bagels, croissants bagels, and doughnuts, using organic ingredients, locally sourced where possible.

About the Owner: Before moving to Tuscaloosa, my wife and I lived, with our new born son, across the street from a sourdough bakery in the city of Brighton and Hove, on the South coast of England. We bought bread there nearly every day. We loved the texture and flavor. When we moved to Alabama, I set out to try to make my own true sourdough, no commercial yeast, no additives.
